For our Friday horse racing we take a look at a marvelous stakes race at beautiful Saratoga.
Saratoga Race 8 {Curlin~1 1/8 mile~3 year old~Stakes}
A great field of eight will go to the gate. Some decent, but controlled speed will make this one very interesting. Many more improving horses will make it exciting.
#3 Street Life (Lezcano / C. Brown) looks like much the best hoping to catch a lively pace. He holds the second highest last out speed number off a longer route and has put in four superior workouts. This son of Street Sense will be closing fast like his daddy use to.
$1 WIN / $2 SHOW.
#5 Easter Gift (Castellano / Zito) is a much improving colt with the highest last out speed number, a three race progression, and three robust workouts. He has enough tactical speed to stay reasonably close and get first jump on the field.
$1 PLACE / $1 SHOW.
#7 Love To Run (Alvarado / Kimmel) is another nicely improving colt with the fourth highest last out speed number, a three race progression, and one stout workout. He should be forwardly placed ready to run.
$1 SHOW.
Another Wagering Interest
#1 Politically Correct (Rosario / Ward) should be on the front end attempting to control the pace to his advantage. He holds the second highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and two superb workouts. This guy has the capabiltiy to win it.
