Superfecta Sunday at the Great Race Place

Another nice Turf race for our Superfecta Sunday.

Santa Anita Park Race 6 {John Henry Turf Championship~G2~1 1/4 mile~TURF~3 year-old Up~Graded Stakes}

A high quality field of ten will take to the Santa Anita green. There is some speed and forwardly placed types to insure an honest pace. Speed numbers are close which gives the race a significantly competitive nature. Our task is to cobble together a winning 10 CENT Superfecta box ticket.

#6 Ashleyluvssugar (G. Stevens / Eurton) and he also loves the Santa Anita turf. He holds the highest (3-way tie) last out speed number at a longer Turf route and three hearty workouts. He should travel close to the pace ready to strike going into the stretch. With a streak of triple digit speed figs, he should go off as the favorite.

#8 Messi [GER] (Van Dyke / Motion) should challenge sharing the highest last out speed number, working a three race progression, and putting in three superb workouts. This lad is 80% in the money at this distance. He has the tactical speed to stay the course whatever pace scenario develops. He is our Bronze Horseshoe selection.
$2 SHOW.

#3 Flamboyant [FR] (Smith / Gallagher) should contend with the fourth highest (tie) last out speed number at a longer Turf route and four sensational workouts. This guy is 100% in the money at this distance. He should be flying late.

#10 Texas Ryano (Talamo / Gaines) could be in the mix with the second highest last out speed number, a four race progression, and four supreme peaking workouts. This guy holds a victory at the distance in his only try at it. He should be tracking and closing gallantly.

10 CENT Superfecta Box ($2.40)

Stakes Saturday near the San Gabriels

Stakes Saturday rolls in with a bunch of excellent Stakes races to choose from. We take a look at Classic Turf race for the girls.

Santa Anita Park Race 8 {Rodeo Drive~G1~1 1/4 mile~TURF~3 year-old Up~Fillies/Mares~Graded Stakes}

A contentious field of twelve will take to the green looking for some significant purse money. There is enough speed to keep the pace humming. Speed numbers are so very close that any of these girls could pull off the victory. It should be a fantastic race.

#13 Elektrum [IRE] (Espinoza / Sadler) might have the edge with the second highest (4-way tie) last out speed number and two superb workouts. She has hit the board in both of her two tries at this distance. Expect this daughter of High Chaparral [IRE] to turn on the speed coming into the stretch.
$2 WIN  /  $3 PLACE  /  $5 SHOW.

#4 Avenge (Prat / Mandella) will be stretching out to this distance which should allow her to take another stride forward. She will be seeking her third win in a row. This gal holds the highest last out speed number and two strong workouts. A daughter of War Front, she should be forwardly placed ready to strike.
$2 PLACE  / $3 SHOW.

#2 Frenzified [GB] (Gonzalez / Cassidy) should challenge having already been in the money twice at this distance in only two tries. Both money producers were across the pond. She shares the second highest last out speed fig, is working a two race progression, and has put in four ferocious workouts. This daughter of Yeats [IRE], should track the pace and launch into the stretch.
$2 SHOW.

#12 Zipessa (Geroux / Stidham) will contend with the third highest last out speed number and four highly fortified workouts. She should be near the front end seeking her fifth career win. This daughter of City Zip has the third highest career in the money record (75%) of this group.

10 CENT Superfecta

#13 Elektrum [IRE]  /  #4 Avenge  /  #2 Frenzified [GB], #12 Zipessa  /  ALL.
