Hawthorne Race Course Race 7 {Hawthorne Derby~1 1/8 mile~TURF~3 year-old~Stakes}
A great group of twelve will hit the grass in this annual contest.

There is enough speed in this Derby to produce an efficient pace. Speed figs are very close. Only one entrant has raced over the Hawthorne course. Additionally, only four have gone this distance. Two will be racing over the Turf for the first time. It should be a fantastic race on a great day of racing across the country.
