Stakes Saturday on Florida Turf

 We look in on South Florida for some great Turf action.

Gulfstream Park Race 11 {Topical Park Derby~1 1/16 mile~TURF~3 year-old~Stakes}

A reduced field of ten will hit the Turf in this annual contest.

There is plenty of speed in this field to produce a sizzling space. Speed figs are very close making this one a highly competitive race. Three will be attempting the Gulfstream course for the first time. One will be switching from dirt to Turf. All are well prepped for this race. It should be a great race to cap off the card.

#3 Tiz Dashing (Castellano / Tagg) looks to be in great position for the win. He comes in with the highest last out speed number and three superb peaking workouts over Turf. He is good over the Turf, distance, and course. This guy should track the pace and strike in the stretch. A son of Tiz the Law, he is 66% in the money from nine starts.

#7 Chapmans Peak (Gaffalione / B. Cox) has the tactical speed to adapt to the pace. He holds the fourth highest last out speed number and two solid workouts. This guy is another with tactical speed. #4 Church State (M. Husbands / Owens) drops in distance and out of a graded race. This guy holds the third highest (tie) last out speed number and one bullet workout. He is a lover of the Turf. Watch him track the pace closely. A son of Caravaggio, he is 66% in the money from nine starts.
