After two exciting Derby prep races on Saturday, this Sunday we will relax and take in a small stakes race in Canada at Woodbine.
Woodbine Race 6 {Jacques Cartier~6 furlongs~4 year old Up~Stakes}
A small field of five go to the gate for this race. El Brujo (Husbands / Pierce) looks to be the very best with a decent speed number last out and four fine workouts. Field Commission (Ramsammy / Vella) looks solid with the second best speed number at the distance and one strong workout. Hollywood Hit (McAlenny / O'Callaghan) will be the speedster in this rae with the highest speed number at the distance and three sturdy workouts. It is possible that this lad could wire the field. All but one of these guys are coming off layoffs which makes for a highly competitive race. Let's play Woodbine.
$2 WIN / SHOW: #4 El Brujo
NO 10 CENT Superfeta's at Woodbine.
Saturday's Results
A dissapointing horse racing weekend as we were unable to build our bankroll up.
Keeneland R9. Our first pick, Interactif, finished 4th out of the win and show money. Our second pick, Pleasant Prince, finished 7th. Superfecta went 3-7-2-9.
Oaklawn R9. Our first pick, Noble's Promise, finished 5th out of the win and show money. Our second pick, Dublin, finished 3rd for show money of $3.60. Superfecta went 8-1-2-5.
Bankroll was supplemented with $10.00 and now sits at $12.90.
