Hooray for Hollywood!!

We look at a Turf race at Hollywood Park for the start of the horse racing weekend.

A very closely matched group of eight gals go will make the start in this Turf route.  Westwood Pride (Bejarano / Mulhall) seems to have the edge with the highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and three strong, peaking workouts.  Hemera (Nakatani / Hollendorfer) may challenge with the third highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and three athletic workouts.  Michael's Rose (Valenzuela / Drysdale) will give chase coming off an extended layoff with four robust, peaking workouts.  Talktoomuch (Rosario / D'Amato) will be in the hunt with the second highest (tie) last out speed number, a two race progression, and one superb workout.  Hameildaeme [GB] (Gomez / Lloyd) is also coming off a lengthy layoff, but has been able to grab a piece of the purse coming off previous layoffs.  She will be in the mix here with the second highest speed number on the Turf and four well-built peaking workouts.  Let's play the Hollywood Park Turf.
