Horse Racing Weekend begins at Del Mar

Our horse racing weekend is here and we go to where "the surf meets the turf", Del Mar to take in a high level Allowance sprint.

Del Mar Race 7 {6 furlongs~3 year old Up~fillies/mares~Allowance}
A talented group of seven will line up in this allowance feature. Class drop for all in this event.  Fiery speed should settle amongst the group with a number in here that desire the front running role or like to press the pace.  It should be a very good race.

#4 Reneesgotzip (Gomez / Miller) should be ready coming off an extended layoff with the highest speed number at the distance and putting in four sensational peaking workouts.  She should be forwardly placed ready to strike going into the stretch.
$2 SHOW.

#3 Curvy Cat (Leparoux / Hollendorfer) will challenge coming off a brief freshening with a decent last out speed number and four robust workouts.  She is 100% in the money in eight starts at this distance.  With all the speed in here, her tracking and closing capability is a great advantage.

Other Wagering Interests

#6 Gypsy Robin (Smith / Puype) will be gunning for the win coming off an extended layoff.  Prior to the layoff she scored the highest last out speed number, was working a three race progression, and has put in four superb workouts.  This gal should be forwardly placed looking for an opening.

#5 Shumoos (Nakatani / Cecil) should contend with the second highest last out speed number, a three horse progression, and three great peaking workouts.  This gal loves the distance having hit the board in all four of her starts at same.

Betfair Hollywood Park R5.  Sunset Handicap--G3.  Our effort utilizing the "Lambrakis Method" for our 10 CENT Superfecta yielded a small gain, $2.27.  Superfecta went 2-1-4-5.
Our Bronze Horseshoe runner, Why Not Be Perfect, finished 5th.
