Hollywood Horse Racing Weekend

To begin our horse racing weekend we take a look at a Turf sprint at beloved Hollywood Park.

A competitive field of eight will set-up for a run over the grass.  With one first time starter and four that have yet to race over the Turf, it should be a very interesting race.  Speed numbers are relatively comparable.  Let's give this one a whirl.

#3 Handsome Dennis (Gutierrez / O'Neill) could have a slight edge with the second highest last out speed number at a route, a two race progression, and four superb peaking workouts.  He should be able to close swiftly into the pace.

#6 I Buy Gold (Hernandez / Soto) could challenge with the fourth highest last out speed number and three robust peaking workouts.  This guy has tremendously versatile running style that will enable him to adjust to any pace.

Other Wagering Interests

#8 Oughttobenaughty (Puglisi / Hansen) looks to be in the hunt with the highest last out speed number at a Turf route and three hearty workouts.  This gal should track the pace toward a successful outcome.

#1 Magic Daddy (M. Garcia / Baffert) should be in the hunt coming off a brief freshening and putting in three tremendous, peaking workouts.  This lad too will be tracking the pace ready to strike in the stretch.
