On this Stakes Saturday we will take a swing at a graded stakes race where the "Turf meets the Surf".

With expected scratches, this race will be to a field of eight skilled sprinters. There is plenty of speed to create a sizzling pace. Speed numbers are very close making it very competitive.  All have been well prepped to make a great showing in the race. Any one of these fellas could pull of the victory. #9 Collusion Illusion (Prat / Glatt) could be one of the favorites with the third highest (tie) last out speed number and four stellar workouts. This guy loves the distance and the Del Mar track.
