 A New York kind of Superfecta Sunday as we take in a nice stakes race.

It shapes up to be a battle between trainer, Todd Pletcher and Michael Maker as each have three entrants. Plenty of speed should insure a swift pace. Speed numbers for these lads are very close making it any horse's race. Our task is to string together a winning 10 CENT Superfecta box ticket. It should be a mighty fine race.

#5 Windy Nations (McCarthy / Maker) might benefit from a heated pace. This fella holds the second highest (tie) last out speed number at a longer sprint and three hearty workouts. A son of Soaring Empire, he is 50% in the money from four career starts. He is our Bronze Horseshoe selection.

#8 Perfect Munnings (M. Franco / Pletcher) will be making the switch from turf to dirt after winning his maiden outing. He should be forwardly placed among the crowd. This guy holds the highest (tie) last out speed number and three sound workouts. A son of Munnings, he should make another step forward.

#4 Blue Gator (Carmouche / Maker) shares the second highest last out speed number and has put in two superb workouts leading up to this event. Look for him to be in the pack of forwardly placed. A son of Liam's Map, he is 100% in the money from three career starts.

#2 New York One (Decario / Chapman) is another one dropping slightly down in distance with one solid workout. This guy should be racing close to the presser pack. A son of Big Brown, he is 50% in the money from six career starts.

Gulfstream Park R10.  Tropical Turf Stakes--G3.  Our first pick, Doctor Mounty, finished 6th.  Our second pick, Frostmourne, finished 3rd for show money of $3.20.  Our third pick, Ride a Comet, won (1st) for show money of $2.80.  Our fourth pick, Casa Creed, finished 2nd for show money of $1.30.

We failed to cash our Exacta Wheel ticket. Superfecta went 3-2-5-8.
