A field of eight will go to the gate in this low level claiming race in the Chicagoland area.

There is sufficient speed to produce a swift pace. Speed numbers for most are very close making it competitive. It is the last on the card which usually produces interesting results. All but one have competed at this route distance. It should be a good race.

#4 Super Silver (Santiago / Becker) is the one to beat with the second highest last out speed number. He loves the Hawthorne track and should be part of the pace scenario. A son of Super Saver, he is 66% in the money from twenty-one career starts.

#2 Behind Enemy Lines (C. Roman / Becker) will challenge with the second highest speed number at this distance and one bullet workout. He will be tracking and closing as they head into the stretch. A son of Fort Prado, he is 50% in the money at this distance from fourteen starts.

#1 Antrim's Giant (A. Rodriguez / J. Cox) should contend with the fourth highest last out speed number and two sound workouts. He is another that will track and close into the pace. A son of Giant's Causeway, he is 50% in the money from fifty-five career starts.

#3 The Last Option (Tavares / R. Martinez) will be in the mix with the third highest last out speed number and the second highest average speed number for his last three races. This guy should track the pace closely and get first jump on the leaders as they head into the stretch. A son of Broken Vow, he is 66% in the money from twelve career starts.
