A talented field of nine will go to the gate in this fantastic race.

There is plenty of speed to push forward a strong pace. Speed numbers are fairly close. Two millionaires make their start in this grade one. Three exit the Kentucky Derby in good order. It should be a great running of the Preakness.

#8 Epicenter (Rosario / Asmussen) comes in off a second place finish in KD 148. This colt holds the highest last out speed number and three strong peaking workouts. #4 Secret Oath (L. Saez / Lukas) is the only filly in the race coming off a scintillating win in the Kentucky Oaks. She holds the third highest last out speed number and one superb strengthening workout. Look for her to track the pace and launch into the stretch. A millionaire daughter of Arrogate, she is 87% in the money from eight career starts.
