A Turf Sprint for Stakes Saturday

 On this Stakes Saturday we take in a fabulous Turf Sprint Handicap down at Ol' Del Mar.

Del Mar Thoroughbred Club Race 9 {Daisycutter Handicap~Five Furlongs~3 year-old Up~Fillies/Mares~Stakes}

A solid field of ten will hit the green in this annual affair.

There is sufficient speed to produce an honest pace. Speed numbers are fairly close making the race competitive. Only two will try the Del Mar course for the first time. Three will attempt this distance for the first time. All are well prepped via their workouts for the race. It should be a great race on another exciting Del Mar card.

#6 Uncorked [AUS] (Prat / D'Amato) should track the pace closely and spring into the stretch. She holds the third highest (tie) last out speed number and has four supreme peaking workouts.
