We start a shortened horse racing weekend on a Friday. Today we look at a very nice mile Turf race at scenic Santa Anita.
Santa Anita Race 7 {Pasadena~1 mile~TURF~3 year old~Stakes}
A great field of ten 3 year olds will line up for this annual race. A little speed and a lot of trackers will make for an interesting race.
#10 Stoney Fleece (Rosario / Sadler) appears to have a slight edge with fourth highest (tie) last out speed number, a three race progression, and three excellent workouts. He has tactical speed to put him close ready for a terrific stretch run.
$2 SHOW.
#4 Chips All In (Quinonez / Mullins) will challenge with the second highest speed number at the distance and two high octane workouts. He is coming off a longer route. This guy should press the pace waiting to strike.
$2 SHOW.
Other Wagering Interests
#7 Vibrato Jazz (Smith / Sadler) is a Triple Crown nominee who will be in contention sharing the fourth highest last out speed number, holding a four race progression, and putting in three strengthening workouts.
#9 Buffalo Billy [IRE] (Bejarano / Gallagher) will be stretching out to this mile distance with a solid run in Ireland last out, a four race progression running overseas, and three solid workouts.
