Six Furlong Friday at Fair Grounds

Thank goodness it is Friday, once again.  Today we take a look at fantastic Fair Grounds for a six furlong feature.

Fair Grounds Race 7 {6 furlongs~4 year old Up~LA~Optional Claiming}
A nice full field of nine will journey to the gate for this feature race.  This one is chock full of speedsters which may allow one with tactical speed to take back a bit and let the pace develop.  It should be a very swift and exciting race.

#7 Easy Jazz (Clark / DeVille) could be the one that stays close and moves swiftly through the stretch.  He holds the second highest speed number at the distance and has hit the board for two wins in three tries over the Fair Grounds oval.
$1 WIN / $1 SHOW.

#1A Knot Floyd (S. Bridgmohan / Gabriel) will challenge with the second highest (tie) last out speed number at a route and a two race progression.  He also has a 66% in the money record at Fair Grounds.  This guy could be sneaky good pressing the pace.
$1 PLACE / $1 SHOW.

#5 Freedom Run (Goncalves / Richards) could surprise with a couple of decent last out speed numbers, a two race progression, and one peaking bullet workout.  He is yet another that could use tactical speed to stay in the game.

Another Wagering Interest

#4 Redhotrush (McMahon / Broberg) will be in contention sharing the second highest last out speed number and working a two race progression.  This guy also holds the third highest  speed number at the distance.  He could be one of the speedsters that holds on in the rush to the finish.

Gulfstream Park R4.  Optional Claiming.  Our first pick, Big Notion, finished 4th.  Our second pick, Determinato, won (1st) for place money of $2.50 and show money of $1.80.  Our third pick, Awakino Cat, finished third for show money of $1.80.
Superfecta went 2-1-7-3.
Bankroll gains a few cents to settle at $18.64.
