Friday Turf at Gulfstream Park

On this fantastic Friday, let's give Gulfstream Park another whirl, on TURF this time.

A great group of ten will venture onto the green in this allowance feature.  There is enough speed to keep the pace strong.  Consequently, those that like to come from off the pace may have an edge.

#3 Rapacious (Rocco / Arnold) looks primed to run a very good race with the highest last out speed number at a route and two solid workouts.  He also holds the second highest speed number at the distance.

#4 Shakespeare's Brew (J. Velazquez / C. Brown) will challenge with a couple of decent last out speed numbers and two robust workouts.  He holds the fourth highest speed number at the distance.  Expect him to close well in the stretch run.

#2 Gaelico (Lezcano / Romans) will also be a contender with the fourth highest last out speed number and one hearty workout.  He holds the highest speed number at the distance.  He should be forwardly placed ready to fend off those coming at him in the closing stretch.

#10 Lemon View (Contreras / Vasillieva) is a Woodbine invader that should be up to the challenge with the third highest last out speed number and three superb, peaking workouts.  He has the tactical speed to feel out the pace and stake his claim on the race.

#1 Big Blue Spirit [GB] (Castanon / Darrin Miller) should be in the hunt coming off a longer route and having a couple of decent last out speed numbers.  This guy is 100% in the money in six career starts.  He could track the pace evenly and strike at the top of the stretch.
