On this lovely Summer Friday we take a peek at a mile race in sunny Southern California.
Del Mar Race 6 {El Cajon Stakes~1 mile~3 year old~Stakes}
An interesting group of eight will go to the gate. Five of which were nominated to the Triple Crown earlier this year. There is plenty of speed sprinkled with the forwardly placed which could give it a very strong pace. Should be a nice race on a nice day.
#6 Pataky Kid (Gomez / Proctor) could benefit from a hot pace with the fourth highest last out speed number, a four race progression, and four superb peaking workouts. He should be able to settle back and launch into the stretch.
$2 SHOW.
#8 Holy Lute (Flores / Cassidy) might surprise with the highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and two stellar workouts. He is another that could sit back and wait for the pace to develop.
$2 SHOW.
Other Wagering Interests
#9 U'narack (Leparoux / Hollendorfer) should challenge with the third highest last out speed number, a five race progression, and three robust workouts. This guy could be forwardly placed ready to strike.
#5 Manando (M. Garcia / Baffert) will contend as a speedster with the highest speed number at the distance and two hearty workouts. He should battle for the lead with two others and hold on for a piece of the purse.
10 CENT Superfecta
#6 Pataky Kid, #8 Holy Lute / #6, #8 / #9 U'narack, #5 Manando / #9, #5.
