A sweetly contentious crew of seven fine fillies will take to the green in this graded stakes Turf race.  There is plenty of speed to keep things humming.  It is likely to the advantage of a gal that desires to come from off the pace.  This could be a splendid Sunday Turf race.  Despite having seven of equal ability we must choose four in which to sew together our 10 CENT Superfecta box ticket.

#3 Watsdachances (Castellano / C. Brown) has a very good chance of winning this race with the highest last out speed number, a three race progression, and three solid workouts.  She should be tracking the pace well ready to strike in the top of the stretch.

#1 Concise [GB] (Rosario / Motion) will be making her second North American start with the third highest last out speed number at a longer Turf route, a three race progression which includes races from across the pond, and two strong workouts.  She can be expected to close with flourish.  She is our Bronze Horseshoe selection.

#2 Tapicat (Smith / Mott) will challenge with the second highest last out speed number and three superb workouts.  She should be part of the speed on the front end.  This gal is 100% in the money in her five career starts.

#7 Caroline Thomas (Napravnik / Tagg) could surprise with a couple of decent last out speed numbers and three hearty peaking workouts.  She also sports the third highest speed number over the Turf surface.  This is a gal that will close swiftly.

Arlington Park R1.  Straight Line Stakes.  Our first pick, Fordubai, won (1st) for win money of $6.80 and show money of $3.90.  Our second pick, Positively, finished out of the money.  Our third pick, Cameo Appearance, finished 3rd for show money of $3.20.
Superfecta went 1A-3-6-5.

Arlington Park R10.  Arlington MILLION--G1.  Our first pick, Grandeur [IRE] finished 7th.  Our second pick, The Apache [SAF], was disqualified from 1st to finish 2nd for place money of $7.80 and show money of $8.40.  Our third pick, Mull of Killough [IRE], finished 8th.
