We begin on the TURF for the start of our horse racing weekend.
Keeneland Race 8 {Sycamore~G3~1 1/2 mile~TURF~3 year old Up~Stakes}
A talented group of nine will go to the green in this graded stakes feature. For lack of speedsters, a few forwardly placed types may kick up a few divots to keep a decent pace on. All in here have comparable Beyer speed numbers. Consequently, it would come as know surprise should any one of them come away victorious.
#5 Suntracer (Bridgmohan / Block) will be closing well into a legitimate pace. He holds the highest speed number at the distance, the second highest last out speed number, a four race progression, and three superb workouts. With six career victories in twenty-six starts, he does have one over the Keeneland turf.
$1 WIN / $1 SHOW.
#3 Temeraine (Flores / Proctor) will challenge with the highest (tie) last out speed number, a four race progression, and three excellent workouts. This guy can be expected to track the pace and launch nicely into the stretch.
$1 SHOW.
#7 Najjaar (Graham / Peitz) could surprise with the third highest last out speed number at a longer TURF route, a two race progression, and two stout workouts. He is another that will track the pace and join in the quickening toward the finish.
$1 SHOW.
Other Wagering Interests
#9 Tricky Hat [BRZ] (Napravnik / McGaughey) should be in the mix with the fourth highest (tie) last out speed number, a three race progression, and one diligent workout. This guy could be forwardly placed ready to pounce.
#6 Rahystrada (Goncalves / Hughes) is veteran that could be a huge factor in the race with a pressing / tracking running style. This guy should still have some race in him, holding the highest speed number over the Keeneland TURF. His last out at Arlington Park was o.k., but with a nice sixty day freshening and two hearty workouts, he could fire very well.
10 CENT Superfecta
#5 Suntracer / #3 Temeraine / #7 Najjaar / #9 Tricky Hat [BRZ], #6 Rahystrada.
Last Superfecta Sunday's (10/13) Results

Bankroll dips to $108.58.
