Furlong Friday in Chicago

Beautiful weather in Chicago for a Turf sprint at magnificent Arlington International.

Arlington International Race 7 {5 furlongs~TURF~3 year-old Up~Claiming}

A great group of nine sprinters will hit the green in this late afternoon feature. There is plenty of speed to keep this one fast paced. Speed numbers are all close which will make it highly competitive. It should be a excellent race.

#1 Rikco Man (Murrill / Stidham) has a slight edge with the second highest (tie) last out speed number, a two race progression, and one sound workout. This lad has already notched a victory at this distance, the only one of this group. He should be sitting just off the pace seeking to score.
$2 SHOW.

Other Wagering Interests

#5 Spoils of War (Esquivel / Divito) should challenge with the third highest last out speed number and a two race progression. He is coming out of a longer sprint and will be trying Turf for the first time. He is another that will coming from slightly off the pace.

#2 Sweep E. Prado (Geroux / Domenosky) should contend with a couple of decent last out speed numbers. He is coming off a route and has put in one solid workout. He is another that will be trying the Turf for the first time, but his pedigree indicates he will enjoy it. This guy should be sitting right off the pace.

#3 Edging (Edg. Perez / Williamson) should be in the mix sharing the second highest last out speed number, working a two race progression, and throwing down three superb workouts. This lad has the tactical running style to fit the developing pace.
