Superfecta Sunday in South Florida

On this Superfecta Sunday we take a look at a splendid Turf allowance race.

Gulfstream Park Race 9 {7 1/2 Furlongs~TURF~4 year-old Up~Allowance Optional Claiming}

A great group of ten will go to the green in this allowance feature. There is enough speed to keep the pace rolling. Speed numbers are close comparatively speaking.  A number in here will be trying the Gulfstream course for the first time and a few will be hitting the grass for the first time. It should be an exhilarating race. Our task is to knit together a winning 10 CENT Superfecta box ticket.

#6 Performance Bonus (Castellano / C. Brown) should get the job done with the highest (tie) last out speed number, a five race progression, and four serious workouts. This lad should take up a nice tracking position and gain ground coming into the stretch. This Turf lover is our Bronze Horseshoe selection.

#5 Hockey School (Leparoux / Lynch) should challenge while traveling on or near the front end. He shares the highest last out speed number, holds a two race progression, and has put in four superb workouts. He is only one of two that have gone this distance and has hit the board once from two tries.

#7 Conquest Panthera (J. Lezcano / Casse) will contend with the third highest last out speed number, a three race progression, and three sensational peaking workouts. This lad will be part of the tracking crew and should strike in the stretch.

#9 All Included (J. Velazquez / Pletcher) is coming off a lengthy layoff, but should be fit enough to round out our Superfecta play. Prior to the layoff he showed two extra strong efforts and has put in four superlative workouts prepping for his return to the green. he is a tracker that loves the surface and the Gulfstream course.

Gulfstream Park R10.  Ft. Lauderdale--G2.  Our first pick, Divisidero [GB], finished 3rd for show money of $5.70.  Our second pick, Jay Gatsby, finished 8th.  Our third pick, Night Prowler, finished 6th.

Superfecta went 9-8-7-1.

Gulfstream Park R11.  Hal's Hope--G3.  Our first pick, Realm, finished 3rd for show money of $6.60.  Our second pick, Team Colors, finished 6th.  Our third pick, Tommy Macho, won (1st) for show money of $1.60.

Superfecta went 2-3-4-5.
