Remington Park Race 11 {Oklahoma Derby~G3~1 1/8 mile~3 year-old~Graded Stakes}
A super fine crop of three year-olds will hit the dirt in this annual event. There is enough speed to keep an honest pace. Speed numbers are fairly close with most shipping in from other parts of the country. It should be a fantastic race. Our task is to lasso a group of horses to formulate a winning 10 CENT Superfecta box ticket.
#3 Battle of Midway (Prat / Hollendorfer) comes in from Del Mar holding the highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and three solid workouts. He should appreciate this distance while being forwardly placed.
#7 Colonelsdarktemper (Court / Fires) should challenge from the front end. He holds the second highest last out speed number and has fired two bullet workouts. He comes in from Parx. This guy has won at this distance and is sure to relish the Remington dirt. He is our Bronze Horseshoe selection.
$2 SHOW.
#5 Untrapped (Santana / Asmussen) looks to contend with the fourth highest last out speed number and four hearty workouts. He comes in from Indiana Grand. This guy loves the dirt and should do well at this distance. He should take every advantage of a strong pace as he tracks the leaders.
#6 Gato del Oro (Bejarano / Baltas) is another coming in from Del Mar. Lightly raced and stretching out to this distance, he should take another step forward. He holds the third highest last out speed number and two strong workouts. This lad should be forwardly placed.
