California is calling as we take in a great Turf race names after a legendary horse.

Santa Anita Park Race 7 {John Henry Turf Championship~G2~1 1/4 mile~TURF~3 year-old Up~Graded Stakes}

A terrific field of eight will hit the green in this graded event. There is some speed to deliver some pace. Speed numbers are fairly close making the race competitive. All are coming into this one fresh off of at least thirty days rest. Most of these lads have superb workout tabs, ready to hit the turf with flourish. Our task is to stitch together a winning 10 CENT Superfecta box ticket.

#1 Itsinthepost [FR] (T. Baze / Mullins) looks to turn the tables with the second highest last out speed number, a three race progression, and four sensational works. He should be close to the pace and rush into the stretch. This guy enjoys the Santa Anita Turf.

#8 Hunt [IRE] (Prat / D'Amato) has produced two wins in a row and looks to add another. He holds the highest last out speed number at a longer Turf route and three sturdy workouts. This lad is another that should race close to the pace and release into the stretch.

#4 Chicago Style (Van Dyke / Proctor) should challenge coming off three wins in a row. His last two speed numbers are good, he comes out of a longer Turf route, and has put in four hearty peaking workouts. He has won five of his six career races. This gelding is our Bronze Horseshoe selection.

Santa Anita Park R10.  Awesome Again Stakes--G1. Our first pick, Mubtaahij [IRE], won (1st) for win money of $8.20, place money of $7.20, and show money of $10.50.  Our second pick, Midnight Storm, finished 2nd for show money of $4.80.  Our third pick, Breaking Lucky, finished 5th.

Superfecta went 6-3-1-8.

Chantilly, France 3:05 pm Race. Our first pick, Dschingis Secret [GER], finished 6th.  Our second pick, Zarak [FR] finished off the board.  Our third pick, Ulysses [IRE], finished 3rd for place money of $5.60.
