While there are no KD 146 points available, this comes up as a very salty field of thirteen talented horses targeting that first Saturday in September as a race they wish to be in. All but two entrants are nominated to the Triple Crown. There is a good amount of speed to provide a decent spin around the track. Speed numbers are very close with only three having gone this distance already. It should be a very high quality race.

#4 Thousand Words (Talamo / Baffert) comes in from California to challenge this group. He holds the highest speed number (tie) over the dirt and three powerful peaking workouts. This lad should run close to the pace ready to break-away in the stretch. A son of Pioneer of the Nile, he has a 75% win rate from four career starts.

#1 Basin (Geroux / Asmussen) will challenge with the third highest (tie) last out speed number and three strong peaking workouts. This guy should track the pace closely ready to score. He has already hit the board at the Oaklawn trrack. A son of Liam's Map, he is 100% in the money from four starts.

#6 Shoplifted (Santana / Asmussen) should contend with the fourth highest (tie) last out speed number and four hearty peaking workouts. With the right pace set-up he should come running in the stretch. A son of Into Mischief, he is 57% in the money from seven career starts.
$2 SHOW.

#9 Digital (B. Hernandez / Calhoun) will be in the mix sharing the fourth highest last out speed number and three mighty peaking workouts. This guy shows the second highest speed number at the distance. Another son of Into Mischief, he should be traveling close to pace with his 75% in the money record from four career starts.
