Superfecta Sunday in New York

 On this Superfecta Sunday there is not much on the Stakes docket, but we did find a nice little Turf race in New York named after one of the best Turfers.

An excellent field of eight will hit the green in this annual event.

Plenty of speedsters and forwardly placed types show up in this race. Speed numbers are very close which should produce a highly competitive race. Only two have not raced over the Aqueduct carpet. All show strong perfomance at this distance. It should be a very intriguing race.

#8 Masen [GB] (M. Franco / C. Brown) comes in from a graded two event up at Woodbine with three sound workouts. He should be forwardly placed battling on the front-end. He excels over the surface and at this distance. A son of Kingman [GB], he is 75% in the money from twelve starts.

#3 James Aloysius (D. Davis / Reynolds) enters with the second highest last out speed number at a longer route and two superb workouts. He should track the pace closely and strike in the stretch. A son of More Than Ready, he is 75% in the money from eight starts.

#6 Exact Estimate (I Ortiz / Pletcher) holds the highest last out speed number at a longer route and three solid workouts. He should track the pace closely. This guy won over the Aqueduct course in his only try. A son of Into Mischief, he is 72% in the money from seven starts.
