There is plenty of speed and close to the pace types to bring about a sizzling pace. Speed numbers are fairly close. It is an extremely competitive race with any of these entrants having a chance to win. Only three have raced over the Keeneland course. five millionaires make an appearance. #10 Brilliant Bertie (J. Ortiz / DeVaux) last raced at Kentucky Downs having hit repeater figs in his last two. Coupled with two superb workouts he will challenge. He is the only horse in the field with a win over the Keeneland course. This guy is another that will track the pace closely. A millionaire son of Noble Mission [GB], he is 75% in the money from twelve starts.
#12 Jonquil [GB] (D. Davis / Balding) comes in from Great Britain with three progressively improving Time Form ratings. He has put in one easy workout over the Keeneland Turf. This lad will part of the crew tracking the pace closely seeking to get first jump heading into the stretch. Another son of Lope de Vega [IRE], he is 57% in the money from seven starts.
#3 Howard Wolowitz (Jaramillo / D'Angelo) should be part of the pace scenario as he stretches out to the mile distance. He holds the second highest last out speed number and two exceptional workouts. This guy last raced a Kentucky Downs placing a nice second. A millionaire son of Munnings, he is 50% in the money from eight starts.
