The day after the Preakness we venture out to a race at Belmont Park and one at Hollywood Park.
Belmont Park Race 7 {1 1/16 mile~Turf~3 year old Up~fillies/mares~Allowance}
A field of ten plus two also eligible, if drawn in could have an impact on this race. This is a tightly competitive race. Sonic Sound (J. Bridgmohan / Baker) has a very slight edge. Coming off a long layoff she looks ready to fire with three strong workouts and the highest speed at this distance. West Court (Gomez / Clement) also coming off a relatively long layoff looks ready as well. She sports a 100% in the money record at the distance with two fiery workouts. Both of these first two have had success over the Belmont course. Exclusive Scheme (Castellano / Badgett) looks tough with the second highest last out speed number, a six race progression, and three athletic, peaking workouts. Royal Fortune (Dominguez / R. Dutrow) looks to run well with a decent last out speed number, a three race progression, and two robust workouts. Let's play Belmont Park.
