Baletti (Cruz / Penna) appears to have the edge with the second highest last out speed number at a longer route, a two race progression, and three strong workouts. Battle of Hastings [GB] will challenge with the highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and four stellar, peaking workouts. Blues Street (Desormeaux / Pletcher) should have no trouble competing with this group despite coming off an extensive layoff. He is a horse for the course, racing 80% in the money coupled with the highest (triple digit) speed number over the Gulfstream course and has put in four solid workouts in preparation for this race. Get Stormy (Castellano / Bush) may be the favorite and deservedly so with the highest (tie) speed number at the distance, a two race progression, and three robust workouts. Smart Bid (Prado / Motion) may well be the surprise in this race with a decent, yet comparative last out speed number, a two race progression, and four fantastic workouts. Let's play the very competitive Ft. Lauderdale at Gulfstream Park.

Santa Anita R7. San Pasqual. Our first pick, Aggie Engineer, won (1st) for show money of $2.80. Our second pick, Spurrier, finished 2nd for show money of $2.60. Superfecta went 1-5-2-6.
