Thursday is opening day at Hollywood Park. Hooray for Hollywood!! Thursday is also Turf day. Today we look a nice Turf sprint at Hollywood Park.
Hollywood Park Race 7 {Harry Henson~6 furlongs~Turf~3 year old~Stakes}
A strong field of seven is expected to make the start in this annual race. There will be speed which should make it an intersting race.
#2 Gig Harbor (Alvarado / Specht) is coming down from Golden Gate to make this race. He is making the switch from synthetic to Turf with the third highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and four superb, peaking workouts.

#7 Ain't No Other (Valenzuela / Miyadi) will share front end duties with #2 and also will be making the switch from synthetic to Turf. He has the highest last out speed number, a five race progression, and two hearty, peaking workouts. Provided there is a controlled pace up front that does not develop into a speed duel, he could pull off a victory.

#1 Robie the Cat (Bejarano / Mandella) looks ready to take a big hoof forward as a triple crown nominee with a decent last out speed number, a win over this Turf distance, a two race progression, and four fantastic workouts. He could press and pounce for the victory.

Other Wagering Interest
#4 Diamond Geezah [IRE] (Talamo / West) will be trimming off 110 yards from his last effort and will be competitive. He holds the second highest last out speed number, a three race progression, and two quality workouts.
#3 Sinai (M. Garcia / Baffert) is another triple crown nominee who should be in the mix with the second highest overall speed number and three robust workouts. He will be making his first Turf start.

Keeneland R9. Our first pick, Don Cavallo, finished 2nd for show money of $2.40. Our second pick, Gleam of Hope, was scratched. Our third pick, Golden Yank, finished 4th. Superfecta went 8-4-7-2.
