A wholesome field of eight will go to the gate.  This is a very closely matched field in which any one of them can win.  It is also a very balanced field with all running styles represented.  It will be an exciting race.

#4 Twojohnsandajack (Leparoux / Kenneally) has a very slight edge with the highest last out speed number, a well managed six race progression, and three solid workouts.  He will be closing in the stretch.

#6 Seruni (M. Pedroza / Oliver) can be expected to challenge with the third highest (tie) last out speed number, a three race progression, and two explosive workouts.  He should be forwardly placed ready to strike at the top of the lane.

#7 Estimate [FR] (Castanon / Pletcher) has had a nice racing career in France and is just starting to get his footing on North American soil.  He has a couple of decent last out speed numbers and has put in two robust workouts.  He will be closing nicely.

#8 King's Command (Albarado / Howard) will undoubtedly be in the mix sharing the third highest last out speed number at a longer distance and putting in two smashing workouts.  He could contend with a pressing attack.

Saturday's Stakes Results
Churchill Downs R10. Louisville Handicap.  Our first pick, Keertana, won (1st) for show money of $2.80.  Our second pick, Musketier [GER] finished 5th.  Our third pick, Simmard, was scratched.  As a consequence, we scuttled our 10 CENT Superfecta play.  However the superfecta went 4-9-3-6.
Hollywood Park R8.  American Handicap.  Our first pick, Sydney's Candy, finished 2nd for show money of $2.10.  Our second pick, The Usual Q.T., finished 3rd for show money of $2.20.  Our third pick, Goldwaki [GER] finished 6th (last).  Superfecta went 1-7-4-8.
