For this beautiful Sunday and the close of our horse racing weekend, we look at a nice graded stakes race featuring the girls at Del Mar.
Del Mar Race 3 {Rancho Bernardo~G3~6 1/2 furlongs~3 year old Up~Stakes}
A quality Sunday seven horse field will gallop to the gate. All appear to have put in some fine workouts over the thirty days. It will be a challenging race that any of these could sprint to victory.
#5 Irish Gypsy (M. Garcia / Baffert) may have a slight edge with a terrific record on the surface, a couple of decent last out speed numbers, and two strong peaking workouts. She can track the pace and sprint to the wire in the stretch.
$2 SHOW.
#7 Jet Blue Girl (Blanc / Eurton) will challenge with the second highest last out speed number, a three race progression, and three superb workouts. Watch this gal firing well in the stretch.
$2 SHOW.
Other Wagering Interests
#6 Tanda (Talamo / Mitchell) will also challenge with the highest last out speed number, a three race progression, and three quality workouts. She is another that will track the pace looking for a seam to cut through.
#4 Mildly Offensive (Bejarano / Gaines) is another contender with the third highest (tie) last out speed number, a two race progression, and three top workouts. She will be part of the speed that hopes to hold on.
