On this Stakes Saturrday we look at a nice long Turf race at the "Big A".

A talented group of eight will make the start in this annual event.  Half the field has traveled this distance and all look well prepared for this race.

#7 Mekong Melody [IRE] (Maragh / Attfield) already has achieved three victories at this distance and will be seeking her fourth.  She holds the highest speed number at the distance, has the second highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and three superb, peaking workout.  She should be the one to beat.

#6 Emerald Beech (Solis / Sheppard) is another with a victory at this distance.  She has the highest last out speed number and one solid workout.  She should be closing fast.
$1 PLACE / SHOW.

#5 Hit It Rich (Castellano / McGaughey) looks ready to stretch out at this distance with the third highest (tie) last out speed number, a two race progression, and two solid peaking workouts.  She could control the pace and possibly wire this field.
