A welcome Stakes Saturday with a nice grade two at beautiful Santa Anita.

An outstanding field of eight will make their start in this annual race.  A great deal of speed will control the pace of this sprint.  Could be an interesting finish.

#8 Euroears (M. Garcia / Baffert) seems to be in tip-top shape and could rule on the front end in this race.  He has the third highest last out speed, a two race progression, and four extremely strong, peaking workouts.  This guy could defend last year's win as he so loves the Santa Anita Course.

#2 Amazombie (Smith / Spawr) looks in peak form with the highest last out speed number, a four race progression, and four sensational workouts.  He also gets over the Santa Anita course exceptionally well.  With a pressing run he could get first jump in the stretch.

#1 M One Rifle (Talamo / Headly) appears ready to run another terrific race with the third highest (tie) last out speed number, a three race progression, and five significant, peaking workouts.  He could also press his way to victory.

#7 Courtside (Rosario / Sadler) appears to be a serious challenger with the fourth highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and four robust, peaking workouts.  He should share front end running duties seeking to hold on.

#5 Frumious (Castanon / Bonde) could surprise with the second highest last out speed number, a five race progression, and one crisp bullet workout.  He should be forwardly placed battling the speedsters.
