Cheers to Friday Turf. We look at a wonderful Turf contest at magnificent Saratoga.
Saratoga Race 9 {Hall of Fame~G2~1 1/16 mile~TURF~3 year old~Stakes}
A superb field of eight will venture to the gate for this annual Turf contest. It looks like a smattering of Thunderstorms may make their way through. Hopefully this one will stay on the Turf. Solid speed will be evident which should set it up nicely for the trackers and closers.
#7 Daddy Nose Best (Dominguez / Asmussen) looks ready to romp. It his race to lose as the class of the field. He holds the second highest (tie) last out speed number, a two race progression, and one excellent workout. He will be closing fast into a scorching pace.
$1 WIN / $1 SHOW.
#6 Quick Wit (Lanerie / Romans) could challenge with the third highest speed number at the distance, a couple of decent last out speed numbers, a four race progression, and three robust workouts. He can be expected to track and close into a hot pace.
$1 PLACE / $1 SHOW.
#1A Optimizer (Alvarado / Lukas) should join the closing party with the second highest last out speed number at a longer route, a two race progression, and three hardy workouts. This guy could step up again.
