What a splendid Arlington Million card, yesterday. Certainly, one of the premiere days of racing in North America.
Now we go patiently into our Superfecta Sunday, where we will take another shot at stitching together a winning 10 CENT Superfecta box ticket. Let's give it our best.
Del Mar Race 6 {Rancho Bernardo~G3~6 1/2 furlongs~3 year old Up~fillie/mares~Stakes}
A field of seven closely matched fillies and mares will strut to the start in this annual stakes race. It will be speed laden which may benefit those that stay close to the pace and swoop through the stretch. It should be a good one.
#1 Rumor (Gomez / Mandella) will sit right off the pace with the second highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and four sensational workouts. She is coming off a ninety day rest and should fire fresh.
#7 Sugarinthemorning (M. Garcia / McAnally) will also come from off the pace with the fourth highest last out speed number and four strong peaking workouts. She appears ready to take another step forward. This gal will be our bronze horseshoe runner.
$2 SHOW.
#5 Moonstruck Maya (Nakatani / P. Miller) will be part of the speed that should hang on for a piece. She holds the third highest last out speed number and three superb workouts that include two bullets.
#2 Winding Way (Bejarano / Gaines) will also share front running duties with the highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and two solid workouts. She will be making her third career start which should allow her to improve yet again.
10 CENT Superfecta Box ($2.40)
#1 Rumor + #7 Sugarinthemorning + #5 Moonstruck Maya + #2 Winding Way.
