Friday Turf at Saratoga

On the eve before Arlington Million Day at gorgeous Arlington Park, we will tune up with a fine Turf contest at lovely Saratoga.

Saratoga Race 4 {Yaddo~1 1/16 mile~TURF~3 year old Up~fillies/mares~Stakes}
A superb field of seven will step on to the grass for this Turf stakes race.  There will be speed.  The field appears evenly divided between forwardly placed and those coming off the pace, though.  It should be a good one.

#5 Hessonite (Dominguez / Donk) looks a tad stronger than the rest of the group.  She holds the highest last out speed number, a four race progression, and two solid workouts.  She should come from off the pace with a dashing run.

#1 Gitchee Goomie (A. Garcia / Violette) will challenge mightily with the second highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and two superb, peaking workouts.  She is another that will run swiftly from off the pace.
$1 PLACE / $1 SHOW.

#3 Elusive Rumour (Alvarado / Albertrani) will show speed and should be able to hold on.  She holds the third highest last out speed number, a three race progression, and two robust workouts.  This gal could improve again.

Another Wagering Interest

#7 Mystic City (C. Velasquez / Ferraro) could be another speedster that holds on for a piece.  She has the fifth highest last out speed number and has put in one bullet workout.
