October is Made for Keeneland

A fantastic Fall Friday unfolds as we take a look at a terrific race for the youngsters at beautiful Keeneland.

Keeneland Race 9 {Darley Alcibiades~G1~1 1/16 mile~2 year old~fillies~Stakes}
A superb field of fourteen 2 year-old fillies will line up for this annual contest.  All running styles are well represented in this crowded field.  There is genuine parity among this group.  Any one of these gals could put in a tremendous effort to grab the win.  It is indeed a handicapping challenge.

#10 Tara From the Cape (Dominguez / Pletcher) has a tiny edge with a couple of decent last out speed numbers, a three race progression, and three robust workouts.  She should be forwardly placed ready to smoothly move through the stretch.
$1 WIN / $1 SHOW.

#5 Fully Living (Cohen / McPeek) should bring on the challenge as a daughter of Unbridled's Song whose progency travel well over the Polytrack surface.  She will be running on it for the first time with a couple of decent last out speed numbers and one fierce bullet workout.
$1 PLACE / $1 SHOW.

#3 Rose to Gold (Rios / Santoro) should contend with the second highest last out speed number, a two race progression that were both victories, and the highest speed number at the distance.  She can be expected to be forwardly placed ready to pounce.
$1 SHOW.

Another Wagering Interest

#6 Broken Spell (Maragh / Lukas) could be in the mix with the fourth highest (tie) last out speed number, a well managed five race progression, and three athletic workouts.  She could surprise with a nice mid-pack tracking run.
