There is nothing like a quick sprint on a relaxing Saturday afternoon. We take a look at some fine fillies sprinting at Keeneland.
Keeneland Race 9 {Lexus Raven Run~G2~7 furlongs~3 year old Up~fillies~Stakes}
A fantastic field of fourteen talented fillies will make a run of it in this annual race. It appears half the field will be forwardly placed in the thick of the pace and the other half will be coming from off that pace. It should be a great race.
#10 Via Villaggio (Pedroza / Hollendorfer) appears ready to strike into what could be a hot pace. She holds the highest last out speed number at a route, a two race progression, and three superb workouts. This gal relishes the synthetic surface and should close fast.
$1 WIN / $2 PLACE / $3 SHOW.
#11 Gypsy Robin (J. Velazquez / Ward) will challenge carving out a sneaky good forwardly placed position. She holds the second highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and four stellar peaking workouts. She has already notched two career wins at Keeneland.
$1 PLACE / $2 SHOW.
#6 Killer Graces (Bridgmohan / Hollendorfer) should track the pace well positioning for that final run through the stretch. She has a couple of decent last out speed numbers and three terrific peaking workouts. This gal shares the second highest speed number over a synthetic surface.
$1 SHOW.
Other Wagering Interests
#8 Drama Drama (Court / Oliver) should be in the mix with the third highest last out speed number over a Turf route and three hearty workouts over the Keeneland surface. She is a closer who will take advantage of a torrid pace.
#7 Anna Sophia (Lebron / Mott) will be in the hunt for racing riches with a couple of very nice last out performances and three sturdy workouts. You will recall she was our Bronze Horseshoe runner last Sunday that had scratched from that race... interesting? She could track and close into a fluid pace.
