To start our Horse Racing Weekend we go to the Turf.

A highly competitive group of nine will take to the grass in this feature.  It comes up a little light on speed which will make for an intriguing race.  The speed numbers at the mile distance are comparable.  A great race to watch and wager should unfold.

#6 Lawless Miss (Saez / Goldberg) could have a slight edge with the second highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and one successful workout.  This gal could closely track the pace waiting for an opening.

#4 Mah Jong Madness (I Ortiz / Morrison) could wire this field with her versatile running style with a preponderance of speed.  She holds the highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and one solid workout.

#2 English Rhythm (Castellano / Hess) will challenge with the fourth highest last out speed number at a longer route and two robust workouts.  She too has a tracking style which may allow her to set-up nicely for a strong strike in the stretch.

Another Wagering Interest

#3 Swakopmund (Franco / Hushion) should figure prominently in this race with the third highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and two hearty workouts.  She is yet another that will use her tracking style to great benefit.
