Furlong Friday at Fair Grounds

We go to the Turf for our Furlong Friday down in New Orleans.

Fair Grounds Race 7 {5 1/2 furlongs~TURF~3 year old Up~fillies/mares~Allowance}
A solid group of nine gals will go to the green in this Allowance feature. There is plenty of speed which may open it up for one of these girls to take the race from off the pace. Speed figures are relatively comparable. It should be an exciting Turf romp.

#3 Enchanted River (Boyce / Robertson) is the expected favorite with the fourth highest last out speed number at a longer sprint and three tidy workouts. Of this group, she holds the highest speed number over the Fair Grounds course. She should be tracking the speedy types up front.
$2 SHOW.

#7 Fort Prada (Graham / R. Scherer) should be in pursuit with a couple of decent last speed numbers with strong performances, a two race progression, and four superb peaking workouts. She is in fine form and will fire fresh off a brief layoff.
$1 SHOW.

Other Wagering Interests

#6 Gia Digzit (Theriot / Broberg) should be the speed of the race and may wire this field. She holds the third highest last out speed number and has put in two strong peaking workouts. She will be seeking her third win in a row.

#4 Tamazula (Geroux / De la Cerda) should challenge with the second highest last out speed number and two stout workouts. She shares the highest speed number at the distance. This gal will be kicking it home through the stretch.
