Gulfstream Maidens Kick off the Horse Racing Weekend

A nice maiden sprint starts our horse racing weekend.

Gulfstream Park Race 8 {6 furlongs~3 year old~Maiden Claiming}
A enterprising group of eight will go to the gate. It appears to be light on speed with only a couple that could be forwardly placed. There are a couple of first time starters in this one which should have an impact. Interesting race, nice wagering challenge.

#8 Mach My Day (Lopez / Plesa) might take the win at first asking. This first time starter is a son of Mach Ride. He has posted a couple of nice works prepping for this race. This lad has the connections that could make it happen.
$2 SHOW.

#4 Titotime (Contreras / Maltine) is coming down from Woodbine to challenge these lads. He holds the third highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and two strong peaking workouts. He should be able to track the pace closely and then spring into action.
$1 SHOW.

Other Wagering Interests

#7 Chiquitaca (Zayas / Sano) will be making second start seeking improvement. He has put in three quite robust workouts in preparation. His first effort was a dud, but he should move forward from that start.

#2 Wizards Clip (Gaffalione / Servis) is the other first time starter seeking to get an early maiden win. He is a son of Tiz Wonderful, so he should be in the mix. He has posted one peaking workout to get himself ready.
