As winter drags on in some parts of the country, we take a look at a fabulous Turf race in South Florida. Its fun to watch the races in the sunny climes and wish you were there.
Gulfstream Park Race 9 {7 1/2 furlongs~TURF~4 year old Up~Allowance Optional Claiming}
A great crew of eleven will hit the TURF in this allowance feature. There is plenty of speed to keep a flowing pace. All in here have reasonably close last out speed numbers which will make it a wide open affair. Our task is to string together a winning 10 CENT Superfecta box ticket.
#5 Ginger Goose [GB] (R. Hernandez / Broome) might have the edge with the fourth highest last out speed number and a five race progression. Of this group, he holds the fourth highest speed number at the distance with a 60% in the money record from five tries. He appears to be a very good form.
#11 Delta Bluesman (Castellano / Navarro) will challenge with the highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and three bullet, peaking workouts. This lad is coming into the race fresh from a brief layoff. He should be forwardly placed seeking to triumph. He is our Bronze Horseshoe selection.
$2 SHOW.
#4 Black Jet (Contreras / Iadisernia) should contend with a couple of decent last out speed numbers in which he landed in the money. He is holding a three race progression and has put in two superb peaking workouts. He will be stretching out to this distance and will be forwardly placed.
#7 Cashmere Cat (Lanerie / Romans) will be in the mix with a couple of decent last out speed numbers prior to a brief layoff. He was working a two race progression and has put in two hearty workouts in preparation. On the basis of having the second highest speed number at the distance and securing a 100% in the money record at same, he will be a threat.
10 CENT Superfecta Box ($2.40)
#5 Ginger Goose [GB] + #11 Delta Bluesman + #4 Black Jet + #7 Cashmere Cat.
