Furlong Friday on the Grass

Thank goodness it's Furlong Friday. Today we take in a Turf sprint on one of the great North American Turf courses.

A nice group of eight will trot onto the grass for the start of this mid-card feature. There is plenty of speed to keep a tight pace. Speed numbers are fairly close with a couple going on the Turf for the first time. It should be a good race.

#5 Im Moneyinthebank (Sanjur / Young) looks like she may take another step forward with the highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and one peaking workout. She should sit right off the pace ready to motor swiftly through the stretch. She loves the Arlington Turf and is 100% in the money at the distance from three starts.

#6 Chero (Emigh / Wainwright) should challenge with the third highest speed number over the distance/surface and two strong workouts. She is coming down in class and distance for this race. This gal should be forwardly placed ready to rumble.

#4 Narfooska (Murrill / Boyce) looks to improve while exiting a higher level claiming race. She makes the drop in class and distance with two superb workouts. This gal will be attempting the Turf for the first time. Expect her to track the pace ready to rock.

#1 Ally's Dream (Roman / Robertson) should contend coming off an extended layoff. This will be her third career start. She has put in three excellent peaking workouts in preparation for her return to racing. This gal is another that will be tracking the pace.
