We go to the dirt for Furlong Friday in New York.
Aqueduct Race 7 {6 furlongs~3 year-old~Fillies~Starter Allowance}
A talented group of nine three year-old gals will hit the dirt in speedy fashion. And there is enough speed in this one to create a smoking pace. Speed numbers for these lightly raced gals are extremely close making for a superbly competitive event. Virtually all scored a victory in their last race. This could be the most exciting race on the Big "A" card.
#8 Head Shrinker (G. Saez / Imperio) looks ramped up to grab this one with the second highest (tie) last out speed number, a five race progression, and three stellar peaking workouts. She should travel gracefully near the front end.
$1 WIN / $2 SHOW.
Other Wagering Interests
#6 Kentucky Road (Carmouche / Toscano) appears to be in good form with the third highest last out speed number, a three race progression, and two robust workouts. She has the tactical speed to stay the course heading into the stretch.
#9 Town Tart (H. Hernandez / R Rodriguez) should challenge with the highest (tie) last out speed number and one diligent workout. She should be forwardly placed seeking to find a good spot off the leaders.
#2 Manhattan Special (I. Ortiz / Schettino) should contend with a hearty last out first time win. She has put in three excellent workouts that include two bullets. This gal should be forwardly placed ready to strike in the stretch.
10 CENT Superfecta
#8 Head Shrinker / #6 Kentucky Road / #9 Town Tart / #2 Manhattan Special.
