Del Mar Thoroughbred Club Race 7 {6 1/2 Furlonngs~3 year-old Up~Optional Claiming}
A reduced field of eight will take to the dirt in this featured sprint race. There is plenty of speed to create a solid pace. Speed numbers are fairly close which should make for a competitive race. Our task is to cobble together a winning 10 CENT Superfecta Box ticket.
#3 Glacken Too (M. Garcia / D'Amato) should show improvement as he drops a bit in class. He holds a couple of good last out speed numbers and two rugged workouts. He does hold the highest speed number at the distance. This lad has the tactical speed to stay in the race. He is our Bronze Horseshoe selection.
$2 SHOW.
#8 Jazzy Times (Elliott / Baffert) will challenge with the second highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and four superb workouts. He is 100% in the money fro three career starts. This guy should be part of the front running pack.
#10 Pulmarack (Gonzalez / Hollendorfer) should contend with the third highest speed number, a three race progression, and three super fine peaking workouts. He should benefit from a contested pace as he takes up a tracking position.
#1 Rocket Fuel (Maldonado / Headley) could go off as the favorite with the highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and four explosive workouts. He also holds the highest speed number over the dirt. Watch him be forwardly placed looking to shoot through.
10 CENT Superfecta Box ($2.40)
