Fair Grounds Race 9 {Risen Star~G2~1 1/16 mile~3 year-old~Graded Stakes}
A talented and well bred group of nine will head toward the gate seeking KD 144 points in this annual Graded Stakes race. There are a number in here that could be forwardly placed asserting some speed to keep an honest pace. Speed numbers are extremely close making any horse's race. It should be one of the most exciting races in North America on this Stakes Saturday.
#9 Principe Guilherme (Geroux / Asmussen) might have a slight edge as he has tripled up on the same speed fig in all three of his career starts. Could be an indicator that he is ready to explode on the KD 144 trail. He holds the third highest (tie) last out speed number, a two race progression, and two superb workouts. This son of Tapit, should make a tactical trip over the Fair Grounds track.
$1 WIN / $2 PLACE / $3 SHOW.
#2 Noble Indy (J. Velazquez / Pletcher) will challenge with the second highest lst out speed number and three hearty workouts. He will be seeking his third win in a row for strong connections. This guy should be motoring on the front end attempting to wire the field. This son of Take Charge Indy, has already notched a win at this distance.
$1 PLACE / $2 SHOW.
#5 Instilled Regard (Castellano / Hollendorfer) should contend with the highest (3-way tie) last out speed number and three strength building workouts. This lad is 100% in the money at the distance and in his five race career. A son of Arch, he should be tracking closely and push through in the stretch.

#6 Supreme Aura (Bravo / Stidham) should be in the hunt sharing the highest last out speed number, working a two race progression, and putting in four outstanding works. He will be stretching out to this distance after two successive victories from two career starts. A son of Candy Ride [ARG], he is another that should track the pace closely.
