Stakes Saturday we look at a sprint at Belmont Park and a route at Parx (formerly Philadelphia Park). The Breeder's Cup is almost a month away and all of the divisions look as competitive as ever.

A very grand field of nine go to the gate. Sara Louise (Prado / Suroor) will be coming off an extended layoff, but looks well prepared with the highest speed number at the distance and four spectacular, peaking workouts. Qualia (Maragh / Ribaudo) looks very ready to run a big race with the second highest speed number at the distance and two good workouts. First Passage (Lezcano / Wolfson) will be closing fast seeking the victory with the third highest (tie) last out speed number, a three race progression, and two hardy workouts. Rapport (M. Garcia / Baffert) will be the speed of the race with the highest last out speed number and one solid workout. Let's play Belmont Park.

He has run well over the Parx track. Exhi (Castellano / Pletcher) will challenge with the second highest last out speed number and four strengthening workouts; the best workout tab of the group. Morning Line (J. Velazquez / Zito) will be the surprise with the highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and three robust workouts.
