Saturday is for Horse Racing. Today we look at a couple of very nice stakes races. A 3 year old Turf stakes for talented fillies at Churchill and the Jackpot for 2 year olds at Delta Downs.
Churchill Downs Race 9 {Mrs. Revere~G2~1 1/16 mile~Turf~3 year old~Fillies~Stakes}
A distictive grade two Turf race with eleven talented fillies expected to make the start. The battle for the victory may come down to three. Aruna (Dominguez / Motion) may have the most upside potential making her third North American start at a longer route. She holds the highest last out speed number, a three race progression, and three stellar workouts. Fugitive Angel (Napravnik / Shepperd) can be expected to challenge with the highest last out speed number, a four race progression, and two healthy workouts. Also looking to challenge in the stretch will be Snow Top Mountain (Gomez / Proctor) with the highest overall speed number run over the Churchill track, a decent last out speed number off a longer route and four robust workouts. Seeking to catch a piece of the purse prize will be Gitchee Goomie (A. Garcia / Violette) with the fourth highest last out speed number at a longer route and three tenacious, peaking workouts. Also looking for a piece of the purse pie will be Stars To Shine (Husbands / Frostad) This Woodbine invader is coming off a nice last out speed number off a longer route, has a two race progression, and two hearty workouts. Let's play wonderful Churchill Downs.

Bug Juice should be part of the speed with a four race progression and four fierce workouts. Blue Laser (Bridgmohan / Casse) will be the prohibitive favorite with two wins at this distance, a three rae progression, and four strong workouts. Classic Legacy (Talamo / Baffert) will be a chief challenger with a decent last out speed number and three tough workouts. Sweet Ducky (Bravo / Breen) will be moving to a little longer route with the fourth highest last out speed number, a three race progression, and two significant, peaking workouts. Rush Now (Albarado / A. Dutrow) will be in the mix with the third highest last out speed number, a three race progression, and three hearty workouts. Let's play the Jackpot at Delta Downs.
