Del Mar Friday

Another wonderful Friday to take a peak at a stakes race at lovely Del Mar.

Del Mar Race 6 {El Cajon~1 mile~3 year old~Stakes}
A nice even field of eight are expected to go to the gate.  All have competed at or near this route distance.  The field is equally matched any one of the runners could pull off a victory.

#5 Uncle Sam (Bejarano / Baffert) seemingly has the edge with the highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and four fierce, peaking workouts.  He could be the one to beat.
$2 SHOW.

#6 Shrug (Gomez / Gaines) could be the pace setter that holds on for the win or a piece of the purse pie.  He has the fourth highest (tie) last out speed number and three robust workouts.  This guy has the ability to wire the field.
$2 SHOW.

Other Wagering Interests

#3 Sahara Sky (Rosario / Hollendorfer) appears ready to run a good race with the second highest last out speed number and four athletic workouts.  He could track and close well.

#8 Macho Dorado (Sutherland / Belvoir) is the distance specialist among the group with in the money performances over five races.  He also holds the second highest last out speed number and has put in three superb workouts.  Is a surprise in the offing?
