For the start of our horse racing weekend, we take a look at a highly competitive Maiden Special Weight on the TURF at splendiferous Santa Anita.
Santa Anita Race 6 {1 1/8 mile~TURF~3 year old~Maiden Special Weight}
A strong field of eleven will make the start in this strong, competitive Turf battle. Five members of the field are Triple Crown nominees. Any one of the field can take the win.
#5 Vibrato Jazz (Rosario / Sadler) looks tough with the second highest (3-way tie) last our speed number, a three race progression, and three stellar workouts. This guy could press or track his way into the winners circle.
$2 SHOW.
#4 Called to Serve (Smith / Eurton) will challenge sharing the second highest last out speed number as well as holding the highest overall speed number. He is the only one to have gone a longer route than a mile (the sole exception being the also eligible). In prepping for this race he has put in two solid workouts.
$2 SHOW.
Other Wagering Interests
#6 Cat's Enough (Guiterrez / O'Neill) looks very strong and will present a significant challenge. He holds the highest last out speed number, a three race progression, and one peaking workout. A superb tracking / closing effort could find this guy in the winners cirlce.
#1 Late Night Sky (Espinoza / Walsh) is the most experienced of the group also with the second highest last out speed number and three exceptional workouts. He could put forth some speed to get a decent share of this one.
10 CENT Superfecta
